Left-over lizards, lopsidedly limping,
Paralyzed opossums, painfully pacing,
Damaged deer, dangerously darting,
Ravaged raccoons, riskily retarding.
Unlucky liabilities, gloomily lingering,
Inpatient passengers, purposely passing,
Determined drivers, distractedly departing,
Unrecognized remnants, irrationally smarting!
[Intended to draw awareness to the tragedy of maiming animals on a road. The alliteration is used to take a, in my opinion, terrible occurence, and make the message less threatening and therefore more likely to be considered.]
